DWDM SFP+ на Extreme ...
by Yury Yaroshevsky 11 May '12

11 May '12

Один из линков поднимается и работает (ch33 - 1550.92 nm): Второй неактивен (ch25 - 1557.36 nm): X670-sw1.2 # show ports 35 information detail Port: 35(1557.36): Virtual-router: VR-Default Type: SF+_ER Random Early drop: Unsupported Admin state: Enabled with 10G full-duplex Link State: Ready [skip] x650-sw2.2 # show ports 15 information detail Port: 15(DN-1557.36): Virtual-router: VR-Default Type: SF+_ER Random Early drop: Unsupported Admin state: Enabled with 10G full-duplex Link State: Ready (local fault) [skip] При этом с обоих сторон видны допустимые для работы уровни по RX: x670-sw1.3 # show ports 35 transceiver information detail Port : 35 Media Type : SF+_ER Part Number : 10GB-SFP-D2596-E Serial Number : EXPDW25Z004 Temp (Celsius) : 30.94 Low Warn Threshold : -5.00 High Warn Threshold : 75.00 Low Alarm Threshold : -10.00 High Alarm Threshold : 80.00 Status : Normal Tx Power (dBm) : 1.28 Low Warn Threshold : 0.00 High Warn Threshold : 4.50 Low Alarm Threshold : -1.00 High Alarm Threshold : 5.00 Status : Normal Rx Power (dBm) : -22.68 Low Warn Threshold : -23.98 High Warn Threshold : -7.00 Low Alarm Threshold : -24.95 High Alarm Threshold : -6.00 Status : Normal Tx Bias Current (mA) : 82.40 Low Warn Threshold : 40.00 High Warn Threshold : 115.00 Low Alarm Threshold : 30.00 High Alarm Threshold : 125.00 Status : Normal Voltage AUX-1/Vcc (Volts) : 3.28 Low Warn Threshold : 3.10 High Warn Threshold : 3.48 Low Alarm Threshold : 3.08 High Alarm Threshold : 3.50 Status : Normal Voltage AUX-2 (Volts) : N/A Low Warn Threshold : N/A High Warn Threshold : N/A Low Alarm Threshold : N/A High Alarm Threshold : N/A Status : N/A x650-sw2.3 # show ports 15 transceiver information detail Port : 15 Media Type : SF+_ER Part Number : 10GB-SFP-D2596-E Serial Number : EXPDW25Z002 Temp (Celsius) : 42.82 Low Warn Threshold : -5.00 High Warn Threshold : 75.00 Low Alarm Threshold : -10.00 High Alarm Threshold : 80.00 Status : Normal Tx Power (dBm) : 1.00 Low Warn Threshold : 0.00 High Warn Threshold : 4.50 Low Alarm Threshold : -1.00 High Alarm Threshold : 5.00 Status : Normal Rx Power (dBm) : -21.43 Low Warn Threshold : -23.98 High Warn Threshold : -7.00 Low Alarm Threshold : -24.95 High Alarm Threshold : -6.00 Status : Normal Tx Bias Current (mA) : 78.32 Low Warn Threshold : 40.00 High Warn Threshold : 115.00 Low Alarm Threshold : 30.00 High Alarm Threshold : 125.00 Status : Normal Voltage AUX-1/Vcc (Volts) : 3.34 Low Warn Threshold : 3.10 High Warn Threshold : 3.48 Low Alarm Threshold : 3.08 High Alarm Threshold : 3.50 Status : Normal Voltage AUX-2 (Volts) : N/A Low Warn Threshold : N/A High Warn Threshold : N/A Low Alarm Threshold : N/A High Alarm Threshold : N/A Status : N/A Собственно хочу спросить - не сталкивался ли кто-нибудь с подобный поведением?

DataCenter Inventory Management software (DCIM)
by Oleh Hrynchuk 11 May '12

11 May '12

Прямо із сайту функціонал та вимоги до апаратно-програмної частини: *Goals for openDCIM *The number one goal for openDCIM is to eliminate the excuse for anybody to ever track their data center inventory using a spreadsheet or word processing document again. We've all been there in the past, which is what drove us developers to create this project. - Provide complete physical inventory (asset tracking) of the data center - Support for Multiple Rooms (Data Centers) - Management of the three key elements of capacity management - space, power, and cooling - Basic contact management and integration into existing business directory via UserID - Fault Tolerance Tracking - run a power outage simulation to see what would be affected as each source goes down - Computation of Center of Gravity for each cabinet - Template management for devices, with ability to override per device - Optional tracking of cable connections within each cabinet, and for each switch device - Archival functions for equipment sent to salvage/disposal - Integration with intelligent power strips and UPS devices - APC, Geist Manufacturing, Liebert, and Server Technologies. Easy to update with OIDs for other manufacturers. - Open Architecture - All built on a MySQL database for easy report building, or export to other applications *System Requirements* - Web host running Apache 2.x (or higher) with an SSL Enabled site. - MySQL 5.x (or higher) database - PHP 5.x (or higher) - User Authentication - Web Based Client -- Regards, /oleh hrynchuk

-- Regards, Michael Bochkaryov www.rattler.kiev.ua +380 67 220-6770

by Andrew Stesin 28 Apr '12

28 Apr '12
