Candidates must be able to create dynamic ecommerce applications using the ATG e-commerce engine. Additionally, candidates must be able to work with project managers, designers and integration teams to ensure that sites exceed customer expectations. Candidates will remain informed in the art of web-based UI development. Responsibilities: • Provide lead direction on the development of ecommerce sites • Implement ecommerce designs with ATG wireframe templates based on customer requirements • Troubleshoot and find resolutions to complex technical problems reported by customers • Fix software bugs and deliver fixes or patches to customers. • Document problem solutions in company knowledge base. Requirements: • A minimum of five years of commercial web software development experience. • Programming skills in Java, including experience in JSP, web applications, Servlets, and custom tag libraries. • Experience developing using object-oriented UI design (MVC, Swing, Struts, etc.). • Must be able to work with a people in a variety of roles including other developers, designers, product managers, technical writers, marketers, technical support personnel, and customers in a cooperative but fast-paced environment. • Excellent software architecture, implementation, and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with standard professional software development processes including source code control, unit testing, functional specifications, and code reviews. • Web Savvy - xml, htm., http, ftp, cgi, email and database connectivity.
